Profile

Kaan Karacan studied Sociology (Bachelor of Arts) from 2015 and Economics (Bachelor of Science) in parallel from 2017 at the University of Heidelberg. After successfully completing both courses, he studied Sociology and Social Research (Master of Science) at the University of Cologne from 2020 to 2023.

In addition to his Master’s studies, he worked at IMVR for 2 years as a student assistant in the Neo-MILK project. Since June 2023, Mr. Karacan has been working as a research assistant at IMVR. He is mainly involved in the UoC Emerging Groups project HPDNet: “The Future of Children’s and Adolescent’s Health Care – Designing Organizational Networks with Hospital’s Pediatric Departments to Coordinate Care”.
