Anna-Lisa Tigges studied the dual Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nursing (B.Sc.) from 2017 to 2022 and the interdisciplinary Master’s programme in Health Services Research (M.Sc.) from 2022 to 2024 at the University of Cologne. During her Master’s studies, she worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Medical Sociology, Health Services Research, and Rehabilitation (IMVR), where she supported data collection and analysis for the MOVE-ONKO project.

In addition to her scientific work, she completed her training as a nurse at the University Hospital of Cologne from 2017 to 2020 and worked there until 2023, primarily on the haematology/oncology wards.

Since January 2023, Anna-Lisa Tigges has been a research associate at the “inVersorgung“ research group. She is responsible for qualitative data collection and analysis in the Patient Power project, which is funded by the Innovation Fund and focuses on patient empowerment through patient advocacy and complaint management in hospitals.
