Saskia Gollasch graduated with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation education and a master’s degree in rehabilitation sciences from the Technical University of Dortmund. From September 2017 on she had been working for several study departments and scientific projects as well as working as a tutor at the Technical University of Dortmund. Later she started working as a representative for digital learning in the project studies department at the Technical University of Dortmund.

She is working as a research associate at the Institute of Medical Sociology, Health Services Research and Rehabilitation Science and is a member of the working group “inVersorgung” since 2021.
