Kurzbiographie

Laura Mause verfügt über einen akademischen Hintergrund als Sprachtherapeutin (B. A.) sowie als Versorgungswissenschaftlerin (M. Sc.). Nach Abschluss ihrer empirischen Bachelorarbeit zu den Auswirkungen des Alterns auf die produktive Lesefähigkeit, arbeitete sie als Sprachtherapeutin in einem interdisziplinären Therapiezentrum mit Schwerpunkt Neurologie und Trachealkanülenmanagement. In ihrer Masterarbeit führte sie eine Sekundärdatenanalyse zum Einsatz der mechanischem Thrombektomie bei ischämischem Schlaganfall in Deutschland durch. 

Seit 2019 ist Frau Mause als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am IMVR tätig. Im Zeitraum von 2019 bis 2023 arbeitete sie im Projekt Neo-CamCare, das die Evaluation von Webcams auf neonatologischen Intensivstationen zum Ziel hatte. Ihr Fokus lag dabei auf der Implementierung sowie auf der Erfassung der elterlichen Perspektive hinsichtlich dieser innovativen Technologie. Parallel dazu war sie in den Jahren 2020 und 2021 Teil des Projektteams von COVID-GAMS, das die Herausforderungen der Covid-19-Pandemie im ambulanten Sektor und ihr Einfluss auf die dortige Patient:innenversorgung untersuchte.

Im Jahr 2023 schloss Frau Mause erfolgreich ihre Promotion zum Thema „Vertrauen von Eltern in das medizinische Personal auf neonatologischen Intensivstationen aus Sicht der Versorgungsforschung“ ab. Aktuell ist sie im Projekt frühstArt tätig, wo sie sich vorrangig mit der Erfassung von Implementierungshürden und dem Inanspruchnahmepotential einer neuen Versorgungsform zur Prävention von Adipositas bei Kindern beschäftigt.
